North Stars Hockey Academy Triumphant in 2011 Minor Championship

The 2011 Minor Championships took place this past weekend at the Great Plains Arenas in Calgary, Alberta.

When all was said and done, the North Stars Hockey Academy took the gold medal after a 6-4 victory over the Airdrie Stars in Sunday's Championship game. The North Stars had a perfect weekend going 4-0 on their way to being crowned the champions. It was a great season for the team as they were one of the top teams in the division all season, and it was a perfect ending for them.
